The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation on Thursday, June 26, turned over ten Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) worth ₱20 million to enhance emergency medical services across multiple provinces.
During the ceremony at PAGCOR’s Pasay City office, six PTVs went to Isabela municipalities: Palanan, Quezon, San Isidro, Cabagan, San Mariano, and San Pablo. Parañaque City, Tanauan (Batangas), Balabac (Palawan), and Mariano Marcos State University (Ilocos Norte) each received one unit.
Each vehicle includes GPS navigation, ambulance stretcher, oxygen tank, wheelchair, and first aid kit.

PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco said the distribution aims to improve healthcare delivery, especially in geographically isolated communities.
“We want to ensure that even remote areas have the means to respond to medical emergencies. This is part of PAGCOR’s commitment to reach communities that need government support the most,” Tengco said.
“This is PAGCOR’s aspiration; thank you for the opportunity to help and serve you,” Tengco told recipients during the turnover.

Cabagan Mayor Christopher A. Mamauag, whose town requires several hours’ travel to tertiary hospitals, expressed gratitude for the assistance that will significantly boost emergency response capabilities.
“We thank President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and PAGCOR, under Chairman Alejandro Tengco’s leadership, for approving our request for a Patient Transport Vehicle for our townspeople in Cabagan. This is a tremendous help and we will use it properly,” he said.
