Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa visited the Nippon Human Resources Foundation Inc. (NHRFI). During her visit, she exchanged views with NHRFI president Danilo Navarro on NHRFI’s activities and prospects for supporting the dispatch of Filipino human resources to Japan and other countries.
Kamikawa expressed her admiration for Filipinos working in Japan, who significantly contribute to the Japanese economy, and for NHRFI’s longstanding efforts in developing Filipino human resources. Additionally, Kamikawa addressed trainees at NHRFI.
Kamikawa also visited the Metro Manila Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3, which Japan has supported through ODA for its rehabilitation project. She then took a 30-minute ride on an operational train car.
