From October 15 to 25, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) participated in the multilateral exercise “KAMANDAG8-24” hosted by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC).
The JGSDF effectively strengthened its humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR) capabilities through a series of amphibious operations. It also enhanced its cooperation & interoperability with participating allies and like-minded countries.
Japan remains steadfast in its resolve to contribute towards the peace and stability of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
