CLARK FREEPORT — Veteran investment banker Roberto A. Atendido officially assumed his post as Member of the Board of Directors of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) on September 17.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appointed Atendido as Acting Member of the CDC Board, as confirmed in a letter from the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Board dated August 18, 2025.
Atendido brings over four decades of investment banking experience across the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, providing financial services to ASEAN-based clients. He previously organized and managed a joint venture financial company in Indonesia—a partnership among the PCIBank Group, a local Indonesian bank, and an Indonesian private firm.
The seasoned banker has served on boards of several publicly listed and private companies spanning banking, business process outsourcing, food and beverage, real estate, and other industries. He has advised notable companies through public offerings and participated in major mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Atendido was elected and confirmed by the CDC Board on September 17, taking his oath of office the same day during the board meeting.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering with honors from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
