Ahead of the inaugural International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus, media representatives gathered at Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club for the Media Golf Day on September 24, 2025. The tournament runs October 23-26.
The preview event introduced the week’s lineup: an opening gala, Pro-Am tournament pairing professional athletes with amateurs, and a closing music festival. The tournament brings together champions and legends competing in golf’s most prized pathway.
Mr. Rahul Singh, Head of the International Series, shared insights on the elite tournament’s growth: “This is the first time the International Series will be hosted in the Philippines and we hope to provide entertainment and excitement with the idea to show the Philippines that golf can be more and that it is an opportunity to come out and enjoy the outdoors to be with your family or bring out your inner sportsperson, as well as hopefully inspire the next generation of players.”
Singh commended the partnership: “Just look at the entire family brands of Digiplus supporting us in a big way, they have seen the vision of bringing the tournament in the Philippines, and none of these would be possible without our partnerships, with the goal to deliver a successful event.”
Joining Singh was Mr. Miguel Tabuena, three-time Asian Tour winner and Filipino golf player, who praised co-pros for competing on his home soil. One star player competing in seven of the season’s ten events is forging his path to the LIV Golf League.
This collaboration brings global golf prominence to the Philippines, cementing both BingoPlus and the International Series as leading entertainment providers while creating opportunities for Filipinos to experience world-class competition.
