The 2nd International Machinery, Tools & Accessories Philippines (IMTAP 2025) and 3rd Philippine Subcon & Manufacturers Exhibition (PSMEX 2025) officially opened May 8 at World Trade Center Metro Manila, drawing hundreds of industry leaders, government officials, exhibitors, and manufacturing professionals.
The ceremony began at 10:00 AM with an invocation and colors by the University of Perpetual Help System-DALTA, followed by the National Anthem. Mr. Hermie O. Flores, President of the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP), and Ms. Angelica Andrea P. Barrios of MAI Events Management delivered welcome remarks.

Keynote messages were presented by Engr. Robert O. Dizon, Executive Director of DOST-MIRDC for IMTAP 2025, and Mr. Tereso O. Panga, Director General of PEZA, for PSMEX 2025.
Mr. Dennis Y. Chan, Chairman of AIAP, delivered the official Exhibit Opening Message before the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11:00 AM. Attendees then toured exhibitions showcasing the latest tools, machinery, subcontracting services, and advanced manufacturing technology.
“With the successful launch of IMTAP and PSMEX 2025, the event continues through May 10, offering a premier platform for networking, business development, and knowledge-sharing among global and local industry players,” said the organizers.
The event, hosted by DJ Samantha of 96.3 Easy Rock, is free to the public and features technical seminars led by industry experts on manufacturing trends, automation, innovation, and supply chain development.
