The Taiwan Tourism Administration has assembled a delegation of 47 representatives from 27 units, including local governments, associations, travel agencies, and theme park operators, for the Travel Madness Expo. The Taiwan Pavilion, centered on the globally adored bubble tea, features a design resembling a giant bubble tea cup adorned with urban landmarks, flowers, bike paths, and natural landscapes. The pavilion highlights eco-friendly tourism, showcasing Alishan National Scenic Area’s “Railway Tourism,” inviting Filipino visitors to savor the charm of railway travel.

At the Taiwan Pavilion, guests can enjoy captivating performances and interactive games. The Hoyi Dance Group, blending traditional Taiwanese culture with street dance and technology, will present an exhilarating show combining “Fluorescent Guan Jian Shou (The chief general god)” with T-POP. Other activities include screen printing with Taiwanese-themed designs, bubble tea tasting, rush weaving, traditional silk fan painting, and a lively Taiwan travel quiz. These activities showcase Taiwan’s vibrant culture and offer hands-on creative experiences.

At the expo, purchase a Taiwan travel package on-site for a chance to receive a scratch-off lottery ticket, with the grand prize being a round-trip ticket from Manila to Taipei. Enjoy the most vibrant performances and activities with a true Taiwanese flavor at the “Taiwan Pavilion.”

To strengthen ties in the Taiwan-Philippines tourism industry, the delegation will host Taiwan Tourism Workshop events on July 16 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu and on July 17 at the SMX Convention Center in Davao. Travel agencies, airlines, and mainstream media from Taiwan and the Philippines are invited to participate in discussions. Taiwan’s Tourism Division and related Taiwanese tourism companies will introduce Taiwan’s latest tourism resources and various incentive programs. Through this exchange between Taiwanese and Filipino tourism industries, the goal is to attract more Filipino visitors to Taiwan, aiming for 10 million international tourists and further boosting Taiwan’s tourism recovery.
