In recognition of his technical expertise and contributions to the energy industry, Meralco first vice president and head of Networks Engr. Froilan J. Savet was recently hailed by the University of the Philippines Alumni Engineers (UPAE) as the 2023 UPAE Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering Awardee for his consistent demonstration of brilliance in the profession for over three decades.
An ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer, Engr. Savet’s extensive technical knowledge and unwavering commitment to industry advancement has been pivotal in enhancing the electrical engineering profession in the country.
Prior to this citation, Engr. Savet was also recognized as an outstanding alumnus of Mapúa University, through the Mapúa Electrical Engineering Alumni Association, Inc., for his professional excellence and significant contributions in the field of electrical engineering.
