Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria and Holiday Inn & Suites Manila Galleria reinforced their commitment to community impact through multiple Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives during IHG’s global “Giving for Good Month.”
The hotels conducted outreach at Tahanan ng Pagmamahal in Pasig City, a shelter for abandoned and neglected children. Hotel teams delivered care packages and engaged with residents, reflecting IHG’s mission of providing “True Hospitality for Good.”

Additionally, teams donated essential pet care items to the Quezon City Animal Care and Adoption Center, supporting 30 dogs, 10 puppies, 4 cats, and 1 kitten. Volunteers participated in a 30-minute pet training session, gaining insights into the adoption process while promoting animal welfare.
In a separate initiative, the hotels partnered with Pasig Immaculate Conception Cathedral Soup Kitchen to launch a Feeding Program led by Cluster Director of Human Resources Merceditas Santos, bringing together hotel staff and community members to provide nutritious meals to those in need.

“At IHG, we believe that hospitality is more than just providing exceptional service—it’s about creating real, lasting impact in the communities we serve,” says Patria Puyat, Cluster General Manager. “Through our Giving for Good initiatives and sustainability programs, we empower our teams to make a difference, whether it’s by bringing joy to children in need or supporting animal welfare. I’m incredibly proud of our colleagues for embracing our Journey to Tomorrow and living out True Hospitality for Good every day.”

These activities align with IHG’s “Journey to Tomorrow”—a 10-year action plan driving positive change for people, communities, and the planet through environmental sustainability, community well-being, and inclusive workplace culture.
Both hotels integrate sustainability into operations through eco-conscious housekeeping practices, digital check-in solutions, and energy-saving technologies.
