Coffee Project, the country’s most instagrammable coffee shop, celebrates the remarkable achievement of its coffee master, Kurt Opeña, who secured 1st Runner-Up at the prestigious 2024 Da Vinci Gourmet Barista Craft Championship held recently at Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
This victory marks a significant milestone for both Coffee Project and Opeña, whose dedication to the art of coffee making and innovative approach to flavor creation stood out among the best in the country. Opeña captivated the judges with his unique concoctions, the Lemondrop Espresso Sunrise and Tsokolate Ehgg-nog, earning him a well-deserved spot on the judges’ scoreboard.
Opeña was one of eight participants who advanced to the Philippines National Finals, competing against over 150 submissions from baristas nationwide. His performance not only showcased his exceptional talent but also highlighted Coffee Project’s commitment to excellence in every cup.
