Cebuana Lhuillier successfully concluded Bukluran 2025, reinforcing its commitment to leadership development and employee engagement through this transformative annual event that unites managers nationwide.
Rooted in the Filipino word buklod meaning “that which unites,” Bukluran strengthens bonds, aligns visions, and renews leadership purpose across the organization. “Bukluran is where we come together not just as colleagues, but as one Cebuana family—united in purpose, driven by passion, and inspired to lead with heart,” shared President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.
This year introduced the CebuanAmazing Race, a Cebuana-inspired team challenge aligned with the company’s Amazing Ka Cebuana culture campaign. Held at Cala Laiya in San Juan, Batangas, the event ran in six batches from May 20 to June 17, 2025, welcoming around 300 participants from across company groups, divisions, and departments.
Anchored on Better Mindset, Better Relationship, and Better Team, the program focused on understanding Social Styles to enhance interpersonal dynamics. Participants learned to navigate different personality types and leadership approaches through high-impact activities, while the race format challenged teams to think creatively, communicate effectively, and collaborate under pressure.
Expert facilitation by iLeap Consulting brought the program’s objectives to life through engaging team-building modules, combined with support messages from Cebuana Lhuillier’s Management Committee.
“Bukluran reflects the kind of leadership culture we champion—one that’s inclusive, collaborative, and anchored on trust. It’s a space where leaders grow not just professionally, but as part of a bigger mission to serve,” emphasized Jo-Ann Tacorda, First Vice President and Group Head for Corporate Services.
Bukluran continues strengthening Cebuana Lhuillier’s leadership and organizational heart, with its people remaining the company’s greatest strength and driving force.
