Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) and the Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc. (CCFPI) have united with valued stakeholders to enhance support for community-focused projects through the 2024 Coca-Cola Golf Classic tournament. This year’s event, held at the Sta. Elena Golf & Country Club, highlights the commitment of Coca-Cola and its partners—over 180 key customers, suppliers, and industry leaders—to build stronger communities across the Philippines.
Now in its fourth iteration since its return in 2019, the annual Golf Classic featured special guests Filipina professional golfers Bianca Pagdanganan and Sam Bruce. Pagdanganan is an Olympic athlete and two-time representative of the Philippines at the Tokyo Olympics, while Bruce is the first Filipina nominated for the US NCAA Woman of the Year Award.
CCBPI emphasizes that its strength lies in the communities it serves. The Coca-Cola Golf Classic brings together partners and sponsors to witness the significant impact of their collective efforts in refreshing the Philippines and uplifting lives through community initiatives.
In the past year, funds raised from this tournament supported disaster response initiatives, including relief efforts following recent typhoons that affected the country. The partnership between CCBPI, CCFPI, and AHA Learning Center—a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing high-potential public school students—has also been strengthened. Pledges from this year’s tournament will sustain Coca-Cola’s collaboration with AHA Learning Center and expand programs aimed at fostering long-term community well-being.
This year’s tournament concluded with an exciting finish, as Romeo Castro Jr., Mario Rafael Mañaol, Josef Andrew Mendoza, and Raymundo Juanchoe emerged as the overall team champions with a winning gross score of 59.
