Surf2Sawa (S2S), the prepaid fiber internet brand of Converge ICT Solutions, has empowered countless Filipinos with affordable broadband connectivity, enabling a tech-driven lifestyle.
Beyond its user benefits, this prepaid solution has profoundly impacted Converge S2S partners, transforming their lives. For Pits Telecom in Cavite, founded by Garry Inaclang, Eleazar Papa, and Melvin Baysa, it marked a pivotal shift from technicians to entrepreneurs.
“At first, entering S2S was daunting as our expertise was technical, not sales. However, we took the leap and never looked back,” Eleazar shared.
Since launching S2S in Cavite in March 2023, the trio maximized their three-man team, leveraging social media, door-to-door sales, and personalized service to attract and serve customers effectively.
Their diligence paid off quickly. From initially installing one to two households daily, they now connect 12 to 15 customers daily, expanding from a single installation team to six across Cavite. They’ve also bolstered their marketing with sales agents and social media strategies.
“In the beginning, introducing S2S in Cavite was challenging. However, word-of-mouth and our commitment to quality have made S2S a sought-after service,” Garry reflected.
Grateful for S2S’s opportunities, the Pits Telecom founders now prioritize family time while managing their business. They’ve also diversified income streams, launching Pits Laundry alongside their telecom venture.
“Our journey with S2S has been transformative. We aim to continue empowering Cavite with reliable internet and expand our reach further,” Eleazar emphasized.
Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of Pepito Manaloto, or Pareng Pits, they named their company, Pits Telecom, after him.
“We aspire to emulate Pareng Pits’ success through S2S. It has truly reshaped our lives,” Eleazar concluded.
