The Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC) emphasizes the importance of an efficient bus transport system for inter-province mobility and economic development. Co-founder Olivia V. Yanson expressed the group’s dedication to supporting government initiatives that enhance public transportation, enabling people to travel for work and leisure.
“Mobility directly translates into increased demand for public transport. The Yanson Group remains steadfast in providing safe, dependable, and affordable transportation solutions,” said Yanson during the annual stockholders’ meeting of Goldstar Bus Transit Inc. on February 3, 2025, in Bacolod City.
Goldstar Bus, part of YGBC, recently re-elected its board members, including Olivia and Leo Rey Yanson, who will continue to lead as chairman and president, respectively. The group also operates Ceres Transport Inc. (CTI), which held a separate meeting where similar board members were re-elected.
Under the leadership of the Yanson family, YGBC operates one of the largest bus networks in the Philippines, with a commitment to improving mobility across regions. The group aims to expand its services in Central Mindanao and the Visayas, enhancing access for students, professionals, and the general public.
As the largest land transport conglomerate in the country, YGBC is poised to play a crucial role in driving economic activities while ensuring that reliable public transport remains accessible to all Filipinos.
