The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) will host “Smart, Secure, and Strategic: Building the New Age of Philippine Manufacturing” on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 4:00PM in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.
The Philippines has achieved remarkable manufacturing growth, with a PMI of 50.7 in June 2025, positioning it as the second-leading nation in Southeast Asia and creating opportunities for stronger expansion, as reported by S&P Global.
During the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in October 2024, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said, “The Philippines is an ideal hub for smart, sustainable manufacturing…So, let me put on my salesman’s hat for just a while and invite you to explore the investment opportunities that are on offer. We are targeting industries like green metals, battery manufacturing, energy equipment, data centers, and agribusiness.”
The forum will address Industry 4.0 enablement, AI-driven manufacturing operations, and strategic supply chain positioning. Key discussions will examine global manufacturing transformation, reshoring strategies, and how the Philippines can assert its value proposition amid evolving trade policies.
BCCP Executive Vice Chair Chris Nelson noted, “Digital transformation in manufacturing is not just about technology but also about building a future-ready workforce and attracting long-term investment. We remain committed to supporting this shift alongside the Marcos administration’s economic agenda.”
