In celebration of the beloved alcoholic spirit, the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines cordially invites attendees to the 11th annual World Gin Day on the 27th of June, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Dusit Thani Manila.
This year’s event will feature a roster of local and UK gins, including the British Chamber’s event partner, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. Participating UK gins include G&I Spirit Group Ltd., Skywave Gin, and Spirit of Trent. The 11th World Gin Day would not be complete without the 6th BCCP Bartending Competition, where talented bartenders will exhibit their skills and artistry in creating the best gin-infused cocktails for a chance to win exclusive prizes.
The British Chamber of Commerce continues its efforts in reinforcing UK-Philippine trade relations. British Chamber executive director/trustee Chris Nelson stated, “Gin is a growing market, and it’s one of those areas that we’ve looked at and worked on extensively. This is our 11th year, and we’re continuing this tradition. There will be a bartending competition, and it’s going to celebrate all the good aspects of gin drinking.”
