BingoPlus and ArenaPlus, top entertainment platforms, celebrate with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) on the successful end of the 48th season PBA Philippine Cup.

This season’s finals featured a historic match between the San Miguel Beermen and the Meralco Bolts, reviving an old rivalry. The Meralco Bolts won the series 4-2, with a game 6 score of 80-78 on June 16 at the Araneta Coliseum. Chris Newsome led the Bolts with 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists, earning the PBA Philippine Cup Finals MVP title.
In a press conference, Chris Newsome shared that it felt like fate to face the first team he ever played against in the PBA in his first championship finals. He said, “This win is special because it’s the first in Meralco’s history. It shows our hard work as a team to improve every year.”
The PBA celebrated this season’s success with the champions at One Ayala Mall Makati on June 18. BingoPlus joined the celebration by giving away premium merchandise and congratulating Newsome on his great performance throughout the season.
