Ayala Land is expanding its presence in Davao City with Virendo, Ayala Land Premier’s (ALP) first luxury horizontal residential development in the region. Located in Toril, 16 kilometers from the city center, Virendo offers an exclusive, low-density community within a master-planned, mixed-use estate. Phase 1 of the 37.4-hectare development is slated for turnover in the second quarter of 2029.
Taking its name from the Spanish words “verde” (green) and “pausado” (gentle/deliberate), Virendo is designed as a verdant haven with views of the Mt. Apo-Talomo range and Davao Gulf. The development features 150 residential lots ranging from 450 to 1,803 square meters.
“With the launch of Virendo, we are introducing a new neighborhood that embodies the heart of Davao,” said Mike Jugo, president of Ayala Land Premier. “We envision Virendo as a place where families can thrive, connections can flourish, and dreams can take root.“
Residents will have access to premium amenities designed by BAAD Studios, including a Residents’ Lounge for gatherings and a Sports & Leisure Center with a social hall and pool complex.
Ricardo R. Floirendo, vice chairman of ANFLO Group of Companies, emphasizes the development’s significance: “Virendo is an important milestone for the Anflo Group as it not only marks another partnership with Ayala Land but is also located in an area that holds a special place in our hearts.”
Virendo joins Ayala Land’s other developments in Davao, including the 10-hectare Abreeza and the 25-hectare Azuela Cove. Virendo extends Ayala Land Premier’s signature master-planned approach to Davao’s southern corridor.
