AP Renewables Inc. (APRI), a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corporation, sponsored a basic sewing skills and entrepreneurship training program in Sta. Elena, Sto. Tomas City, Batangas, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
APRI also donated 25 sewing machines and start-up kits to help beneficiaries attain a National Certification Level II in Dressmaking from TESDA and secure a livelihood.
The local barangay pledged ongoing support in marketing assistance and stakeholder engagement to ensure the project’s sustainability.
APRI, a geothermal energy producer, delivers clean and renewable baseload power with facilities in Tiwi, Albay, as well as in Bay and Calauan, Laguna, and Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
