Electrical engineers from Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light), a distribution utility of Aboitiz Power Corporation, have been recognized as globally competent professional engineers. They were conferred the title of Asean Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE) and included in the Asean Engineering Register.
The ACPE title is granted to professional engineers from Asean member countries who have at least seven years of active and practical experience, including a minimum of two years in responsible charge of significant engineering works.
As ACPEs, these engineers can work and practice their expertise across Asean economies, collaborating with local engineers. Davao Light is the third largest private electric distribution utility in the Philippines.
