The project covers the 630-meter road pavements, concreting sidewalks, curbs, gutters and improving the drainage system. Aboitiz Construction also prepared parking areas, trail paths, and benching of sloping areas to protect people from the soil erosion hazard. The newly constructed road will give a fresher breath to nature-lovers who are planning to travel uphill to the soon-to-open nature park.

The future nature park will serve as the added natural attraction to both local and international tourists in Cebu.

EWA soon in PH

PayKey, a fintech company based in Israel, will offer in the Philippines this year Earned Wage Access (EWA), a solution that enables employees to access their salary before payday and release their already earned wage with just a click of a button.

EWA can be integrated and offered by banks to their corporate accounts so employers can incorporate it as an employment benefit for their employees.

Through the EWA app, employees can easily see their current earned salaries and can request for an advance via the platform. The requested amount will be transferred to the employee’s bank account as soon as it’s approved.

As it is not a loan, EWA will have no interest rate because employees will access and withdraw their own money.
