AllHome, the leading one-stop shop home improvement retailer in the Philippines, continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the lives of Filipinos through its AllHome Builds initiative.
In a partnership with Las Pinas National High School, AllHome embarked on a project to renovate and enhance the Science & Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) Room and Science Faculty Room, contributing to the school’s efforts to provide quality education in the new learning setup. With a focus on social responsibility, AllHome’s renovation and donation efforts aim to create a better environment for learning and teaching.
Las Pinas National High School was chosen as the beneficiary of AllHome’s project due to the urgent need for better learning facilities, particularly in the current learning environment. Recognizing the challenges faced by public schools, AllHome stepped in to support the school’s efforts to create an optimal learning environment for students and teachers alike.
“Even if one school at a time, we want to pursue and implement efforts to uplift education wherever we can,” says Camille Villar, AllHome vice chairman. “We truly believe that our young Filipino students hold the keys to our future, and towards this, we want to provide a good starting point for our Las Pinas beneficiaries in terms of the sciences — disciplines crucial in this ever-changing world. Through this effort from AllHome Builds, it is our hope that we continue to provide a light to students who despite many odds continue to persevere in pursuing the very best education within their reach.”
The AllHome Builds project focused on renovating two rooms: the Science Faculty Room and the STEM System Room. These rooms underwent significant improvements, including the installation of tiles, fresh wall and ceiling paint, and the addition of fixed power outlets and cabinets. These enhancements create a conducive and inspiring space for teachers to deliver quality education and facilitate interactive learning experiences for the 4,600 students enrolled in the STEM program.
In addition to the renovations, AllHome generously donated air conditioning units to further improve the learning environment. By providing a comfortable atmosphere, AllHome recognizes the positive impact it can have on the students’ concentration, engagement, and overall educational experience. Recently, AllHome added 10 laptop units for the faculty.
