THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said it will open this week its desks for the filing of application of company registration and monitoring, provided such the applications have been assessed and approved through online processing.
“The SEC Company Registration and Monitoring Department (CRMD) will resume work at the Commission’s headquarters within the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Complex in Pasay City starting May 26, following the easing of community quarantine protocols across the country,” the SEC said.
“The CRMD will implement a four-day workweek schedule of from Monday to Thursday, and shortened operating hours, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ),” it said.
The SEC the CRMD office pplications, and supplemental documents required during the processing.”
“The limited operations of the CRMD will likewise include the releasing of Certificates of Incorporation/ Amendment and Confirmation of Payment, and orders in Petitions to Lift Order of Suspension/ Revocation and/or Correction,” the SEC said.
The SEC will also open its payment facilities in the main office and at its former headquarters in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City starting May 26.
The SEC extension offices outside the National Capital Region have earlier reopened at limited capacity.
The SEC said it will operate with a skeleton staff and continue to adopt alternative work arrangements while quarantine measures remain in place, pursuant to the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of Community Quarantine in the Philippines issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
