Wilcon Depot Inc. hopes to bring its store network to 100 by the end of the year.
Rose Ong, Wilcon Depot chief operating officer, said the company has opened its 91st store this month.
Ong expressed optimism the business environment will further normalize after several challenging years.

“In the property sector, we see a lot of movements… those units that will be turned over, they will have to be renovated. They will have to be upgraded. I think consumption will go back to normal. We’re seeing that inflation is going down,” she added.
Ong said the company has yet to finalize its capital spending for the year.
