Vivant Energy Corp. subsidiary Delta P. Inc. (DPI) has partnered with Palawan Electric Cooperative (Paleco) for a 15-year power supply agreement (PSA) for 40 megawatts (MW) of contracted capacity.
In a statement on Tuesday, the company said the deal was secured after a conduct of a competitive selection process (CSP).
This is also the pioneer CSP conducted by the National Electrification Administration for an electric cooperative.
The deal will ensure stable electricity supply to the areas covered by Paleco which are experiencing robust growth.
Vivant Energy is the holding company for the energy-related investments of Vivant Corp. which has a total energy capacity of around 382 MW and is considered as the among the largest power providers in off-grid areas.
