Companies are being encouraged to use modern solutions to make the operations of data centers and micro grids in the country more feasible.
Enercon Asia, a provider of energy and power system integrator solutions, said it has advanced smart energy assessment and monitoring systems that will address the growing demand for sustainability innovations.
The company said it has a remote energy monitoring system which can be connected to various energy sources, including generators, solar panels, batteries and the power grid that is also equipped with a data-driven tool to prepare businesses for sustainability management and reporting.
“We aim to empower businesses to actively monitor their energy consumption, address challenges in establishing carbon reduction goals, and most importantly, achieve a significant reduction in power consumption costs,” said Azhar Othman, Enercon Asia executive chairman, in a statement.
The company said apart from catering to commercial and industrial sectors, it can offer its technology for microgrids and data centers.
Roland Lim, Enercon Asia chief executive officer, said their technologies can help lower the cost of operating facilities and buildings.
“By incorporating preventive and predictive measurements, our solution furnishes businesses with insights into their energy consumption patterns,” Lim said.
Meanwhile, Schneider Electric Philippines said it also has an extensive suite of digital solutions to improve the efficiency and sustainability of data centers in the country.
Carlos Leviste, Schneider Electric Philippines business development and marketing director, said since data centers have become integral with the ever increasing role of the internet, the need to transition to sustainable operations is now needed.
Leviste said data centers equipped with smarter operations can optimize costs, speed and capital to prepare them for future technological integrations and risk mitigation.
