2X, a US-based marketing service provider, has opened its Philippine headquarters as part of its plan to grow its global workforce to 4,000 by 2028, with half of the workforce based in Manila.

Brandon Sullivan, chief financial officer, discussed the growth strategy on the sidelines of the opening of its new Philippine office on August 8.  2X operates in Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and Pennsylvania with  1,200 workers at present. It plans to grow to 4,000 in 2028, an increase of 233 percent.

In the Philippines, the target is to reach 2,000 in 2028 from the current 350 or an increase of 471 percent, the company said.

Andrew Ike Waga, country manager of 2X Philippines, said the Philippine office will support the company’s growing team of B2B marketing and go-to-market professionals as Philippine businesses increasingly shift from traditional marketing approaches to data-driven, tech-enabled marketing operations.

Waga said 2X leverages the expertise of Filipino talents since the Philippines produces “500,000 new talents year on year.”

The new office situated in the Ortigas central business district will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and talent development. It features modern collaborative and inclusive spaces, using advanced technology.
