The Bureau of Treasury said it has fully awarded the P35 billion treasury bill with a tenor of seven years.
The Treasury said that the government security fetched a coupon rate of 3.75 percent, amid a total tender of 63.7 billion, “almost twice the P35 billion offer.”
“With its decision, the committee was able to rate the full program of P35 billion,” the Treasury said.
National Treasurer Rosalia de Leon said the government has opened its tap facility for an extra P10 billion offer of the same government security.
