The Bureau of Treasury said it fully awarded the P15 billion Treasury bills T-bills up for sales Monday, with offers hitting 3.4x the available amount.
The BTr said its auction attracted a total of P50.7 billion for the 91-, 182- and 364-day T-bills, at P5 billion each, with coupons fetching 5.772 percent for the 91-day, 5.966 percent for the 182-day and 6.087 percent for the 364-days, respectively.
“With its decision, the Committee raised the full program of P15.0 billion for the auction,” it said.
The latest auction lowered the coupon of the benchmark short-term rates again compared to the last auction last week where the 91-day fetched 5.71 percent and the six month tenor fetching 5.97 percent, while the one year T-bills fetched 6.1 percent.
