The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines said the country’s participation at the Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin 2025 generated over P600 million in sales leads, increasing by 30 percent from the P460 million sales leads generated last year.

The TPB in a statement on Monday said a delegation of 29 private sector exhibitors from the travel and tour agencies, destination management companies and the accommodation sector garnered interest for their offerings in destinations like Siargao, Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, Iloilo, Ilocos Sur and Negros Occidental, among others.

TPB said alongside ITB, the Philippines hosted the Philippine Networking Night held on March 4 that was attended by more than 40 international trade buyers.

“We are optimistic that the partnerships we have forged and the interest we have generated will lead to greater global awareness of the Philippines and, ultimately, increased visitor arrivals, strengthening our tourism industry in the years ahead,” said Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, TPB chief operating officer.

The Philippines has maintained its presence in ITB Berlin since 1985.
