TELUS International Philippines Inc. continues to be in a growth trajectory as it opens its newest site in Iloilo City, its first outside Metro Manila.
Rajiv Dhand, TELUS Philippines regional vice president and general manager, said in a press conference the company is confident of keeping its growth year-on-year without giving figures.
Dhand added Telus continues to look for opportunities to build more sites and hire more people.
He said while Telus believes artificial intelligence is where the future is in business processing, technology and human touch would still be co-pilots in navigating the business.
According to Dhand, discussions are ongoing on the work arrangements of workers as they cope with the challenges of the pandemic that prompted the company to adopt a hybrid model where some are on site and others are working from home.
TELUS is currently training 350 workers at its Iloilo site located at SM Strata Tower, ramping up to 800 soon.
This is the seventh delivery center of TELUS in the country, providing digitally-enabled customer experience and business solutions for companies within the technology and games, communications and media, eCommerce and fintech, travel and hospitality, healthcare, and other exciting sectors.
TELUS International Philippines has a team of over 18,000 and maintains seven delivery centers across Metro Manila and Iloilo City, which support digital customer experience and IT services for some of the world’s top brands.
