The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) has fully awarded bids for the treasury bills auctioned yesterday amid healthy demand for the short-term IOUs.
The auction was 2.3 times oversubscribed, attracting P35 billion in total tenders.
With its decision, the BTr raised the full program of P15 billion for the auction.
Specifically, P5 billion was raised for each tenor.
The 91-, 182- and 364-day securities fetched average rates of 5.306 percent, 5.766 percent and 6.037 percent, respectively.
In comparison, the Bloomberg Valuation Service reference rates are 5.359 percent for the three-month tenor, 5.666 percent for the six-month tenor and 5.999 percent for the one-year tenor.
The BTr is set to auction a 10-year treasury bond today.
The volume for the said offering is P30 billion.
