Local boutique airline Sunlight Air yesterday said it has acquired an ATR 72-600, a modern aircraft known for its efficiency and sustainability, which will support the expansion of its route network this year.
The company said in a statement the addition of this aircraft complements its three ATR 72-500s by offering enhanced performance tailored for short-haul regional flights.
With a seating capacity of up to 68 passengers and low carbon emissions, the ATR 72-600 underscores its commitment to eco-friendly operations and passenger comfort, the airline added.
Sunlight Air currently flies from Clark, Cebu and Manila to various destinations in the Philippines, such as Boracay, Coron (Busuanga), Siargao and Cagayan de Oro.
