Manila Water Co. Inc. said its P2.5 billion Hinulugang Taktak sewage treatment plant (STP) in Antipolo City is on track to be completed by the end of 2024.
In a statement yesterday, the company said the project will service more than 148,000 residents, specifically from barangay dela Paz, San Isidro, San Roque and San Jose in Antipolo city.
Manila Water said the facility can treat 16 million liters of wastewater per day.

The company said the STP will also help in rehabilitating and sustaining the Hinulugang Taktak by treating the wastewater generated within the catchment area before discharging it to the falls. – Jed Macapagal
