Sta. Lucia Land Inc. recorded profit of P2.84 billion in the first quarter, up 66 percent from P1.71 billion in the same period in 2021.
Revenues hit P8.37 billion, up 24 percent from P6.75 billion.
“ For the year 2021, Sta. Lucia has continued to grow and strengthen its foundation in select provinces through continuous landbanking where the company has had proven and continued success, including new pioneer areas,” Sta. Lucia said.
The realtor said it acquired or partnered with land owners for development around the country, expanding its development landbank by another 434.42 hectares last year.
Sta. Lucia also expanded its commercial properties with over 122.68 hectares.
“The company continually seeks to unlock the values of these developed properties, serve the needs of the community and maximize its recurring revenues base,” it said.
Sta. Lucia closed 2021 with total assets of P51.99 billion, up 14 percent.
