Manila Electric Co. subsidiary Spectrum energized another solar rooftop facility in Bulacan, this time the 98.28 kilowatt peak project of North Bound Infinity Real Estate Development Inc.
The company said the project is located at North Bound’s storage warehousing facility in Guiguinto.
The solar installation is expected to generate approximately 125,600 kilowatt hours of clean energy every year and savings of P840,000 annually.
These in turn will reduce North Bound’s carbon footprint by an estimated 89 metric tons which translates to more than 4,100 trees planted and more than 356,300 kilometers reduced in vehicle travel per year.
Spectrum said that since North Bound provides adequate and accessible storage facility and delivery assistance for goods and services between Metro Manila and nearby provinces in Northern Luzon, the company will benefit from the project through operational efficiency and environmental stewardship. – Jed Macapagal
