AC Energy and its partner, Citicore broke ground yesterday for the 72 megawatts Arayat-Mexico solar farm in Pampanga.
The 50-50 joint venture with an estimated development cost of P2.7 billion is expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of next year.
Once completed, the facility is capable of generating enough power to supply clean energy to approximately 45,000 households every year.

The solar farm is expected to boost local employment and supporting economy in the region.
