PLDT mobile subsidiary Smart Communications Inc. has rolled out a one-time data bonus for all its postpaid subscribers to provide customers with means to stay connected and productive amid the COVID-19 situation.
Depending on their plan, active Smart postpaid customers will be automatically credited with a one-time bonus data ranging from 2.5 gigabytes (GB) to as much as 60GB, valid for 30 days.
Earlier, PLDT and Smart announced a 30-day payment extension period for all postpaid customers.
For prepaid customers, Smart provides a special 30-day eLoad discount via the Smart online store.
Discounts ranging from 5 percent for P200 and P300 eLoads to 10 percent discount for P1000 eLoad are available from March 17 until April 14.
PLDT is providing fast, free and reliable 24/7 Smart WiFi connectivity at provincial capitols, city and municipal halls across the country, which are being used as a base of operations for local government logistics, transportation and relief.
Smart WiFi is also available in supermarkets and convenience stores to assist people who are buying food and other essential supplies.
