Synergy Grid and Development Philippines Inc. (SGP) announced a dividend payout of P0.20 per share amounting to a total of P1.05 billion.
SGP said the dividend will be given to stockholders on record as of Dec. 14, 2021, to be paid on Jan. 10, 2022.
SGP concluded its follow-on offering which was listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange earlier this month.
“We are thankful to the investing public for their support since our follow-on offering. We are happy to announce this dividend payout after our follow-on offering; we look forward to a long fruitful partnership with our stockholders,” Henry Sy Jr., SGP chairman, said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Robert Coyiuto Jr., SGP vice chairman, said the dividend payout is proof of its commitment with partner investors.
He also said the investments will be used to finance National Grid Corporation of the Philippines’ (NGCP) capital expenditure requirements. – Jed Macapagal
