SFA Semicon Philippines Corp. said it is declaring $2.56 million in cash dividends for shareholders as of March 17, 2023.
The company in a statement, however, said it is yet to determine the per share basis of the cash dividends given its ongoing share buyback.
Dong Hwan Im, SFA Semicon chairman, said the dividend will be paid out on April 14, 2023.
SFA Semicon said it also approved the appropriation of $10.25 million out of its unrestricted retained earnings to partially fund its five-year updated investment plan(UIP).
“The UIP aims to replace fully depreciated machineries and equipment in SSP’s Phase 1 facility and to upgrade as well as purchase new production equipment in SSP’s Phase 1 and Phase 2 manufacturing facilities in Clark Freeport Zone,” it said.
