THE Securities and Exchange Commission said the public should watch out entities using the logo of the agency in their social media accounts.

The SEC said the agency has  only one account for each social media platform – facebook, twitter, youtube – and a website: www.sec.gov.ph.

“Be informed further that the SEC logo as appearing, is duly registered with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on April 2016 as signed by its chair and the Office of the President. Except from the above-mentioned official links, the Commission has not recognized/authorized any affiliates nor endorsed any social media account to use its official SEC logo,” it said.
