The Philippines targets to exceed last year’s export revenues and exhibitors from its participation at the China-Asean Expo in Nanning, China in September.

CAEXPO is a platform to promote China-Asean free trade area (FTA). China is the biggest trading partner of Asean and Asean is the biggest trading partner of China,” said

Last year, the Philippines registered export sales of $10 million from 15 exhibitors.

This year, the number of exhibitors will increase to 20 with Ilagan City, Isabela as the City of Charm.

Rodolfo said the Philippines in the 2023 CAEXPO also in Nanning made a solid showing.

With local local exhibitors showcasing their products and services, Rodolfo said the team was able to generate substantial sales and promising leads.

“The bilateral relations we currently have with China and Asean is one of the most beneficial to our trade industry. As the CAEXPO is meant to complement the China-Asean FTA, it is only fitting that we use this strong connection to pursue our country’s economic thrusts when it comes to our export promotions agenda for trade and investments,” he added.
