Peza registers 3 ecozone enterprises

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has registered three new ecozone enterprises engaged in sustainable energy, advanced manufacturing, and information technology services.

Tsuneishi Green Energy Philippines Inc. is investing P61 million for a roof-mounted solar facility at West Cebu Industrial Park in Balamban, Cebu to provide sustainable power to the ecozone.

Wenshan Electronics Philippines, Corp., which already operates as an ecozone export enterprise, will manufacture high-tech chip power inductors at the Light Industry and Science Park II in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

The project will cost P13 million and will employ 294.

British firm Tractebel Red Inc., is an ecozone IT enterprise which will deliver export knowledge and computer-enabled services from its base in the Enterprise Center, Makati City.

The company is investing P24.37 million and will employ 306.

The registration of these companies was signed by PEZA director-general Tereso Panga on November 14.
