
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) is poised to sign a memorandum of understanding with Brunei’s National Chamber of Commerce and Industry on possible collaboration between their members.
PCCI Enunina Mangio said the signing will be done in conjunction with the state visit of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to Brunei on May 28 and 29.
Mangio said the Philippines is keen on increasing exports of fruits and other agriculture products as well as electronics to Brunei.
The Philippines is also looking at Brunei’s Halal market.
Mangio said Brunei can also be a source of technology including information and communication technology.
PCCI will lead a delegation of 20 representatives.
The visit will also host the Halal Investment and Export forum under the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area.
