PayMaya Philippines has expanded its cash \-in channels to over 90,000 touchpoints nationwide to reduce barriers to digital payments adoption and usage.
“We are breaking the barriers to digital payments adoption and usage by offering the most extensive cash in channels. With this unparalleled network plus our free cash in offer, we are making it easier for Filipinos to embrace digital payments,” said Shailesh Baidwan, PayMaya Philippines president.
Of these touchpoints, more than 60 percent or 55,000 offer free cash in services to PayMaya users — providing them with a hassle-free way to put funds into their e-wallet without incurring additional charges, the company said.
These free cash in channels include BPI online banking (via linked account), Ministop and Smart Padala.
PayMaya said adding to its wide network of cash in touchpoints nationwide are top supermarkets and leading establishments, including 7-Eleven, Robinsons, SM, Landers, Super8, Southstar Drug, Bayad Center, Easymart, EC Pay, LBC Express, No Brand, Palawan Pawnshop, Posible, RD Pawnshop, Savemore, Shopwise, The Marketplace, among others.
These establishments also allow PayMaya users to cash in to their accounts for free for a monthly aggregate amount of up to P10,000.
PayMaya said users can also choose to cash in to their PayMaya accounts using online channels like mobile banking via Instapay or linking any Visa, Mastercard or JCB cards to their account.
Once users fund their PayMaya accounts, they can use safe and convenient digital payments for their everyday transactions. PayMaya can be used to purchase daily essentials at any of the over 360 brands featured on the PayMaya Mall, on shopping sites or other establishments.
