Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its operations out of Clark International Airport with the relaunch of flights to Siargao.

PAL together with Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), Department of Tourism-Region 3 and various aviation stakeholder groups celebrated the inaugural service on December 3.

“We are proud of this returning service. Our thrice weekly service will provide ease and convenience for residents and tourists in Central and Northern Luzon since there is no need for land travel to Metro Manila to connect to Siargao. Residents of the island will be able to explore other parts of the country via our flights out of Clark,” Rabbi Vincent Ang, PAL Express president, said in a statement. PAL operates thrice weekly between Clark and Siargao using its 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft via PR 2875 every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
