The Board of Investments (BOI) has registered P3.36 billion worth of projects in the information technology-business process management ( IT-BPM) industry in the first four months of 2023.
In a report, the BOI also said it received the transfer of registration of 1,370 IT-BPM projects, of which 1,336 are from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and 34 are from the Clark Development Corp.
The transfer would enable the companies enjoy full incentives under a hybrid and/or work-from-home setup.

The report showed BOI registered 20 projects as of April, which is half of what it has registered for the full year 2022 at 39. As of the first four months, BOI already attained 70 percent of last year’s performance of P4.8 billion.
