St. Luke’s Medical Center is spending P18 billion for a new facility in Paranaque City, its third.

This is on top of the P5 billion to P6 billion it is spending for the renovation of its Quezon City facility. The new Paranaque facility will be located in Aseana City.

On July 24, SLMC broke ground on a  new hospital building in its Quezon City facility, a significant milestone in the hospital’s redevelopment plan.

The new 13-storey hospital building will house nearly 80 percent of the hospital’s existing services with 140 nursing unit beds.

It will be constructed on a limited footprint, occupying only 10 percent of the total area.

This will ensure minimal disruption to daily operations and patient care while maximizing available space, SLMC said.

The new hospital building will be equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and designed to meet the highest patient comfort and safety standards. It is expected to be completed in 2027.  SLMC also has a facility in Taguig City.

In 2022, SLMC signed with D.M. Wenceslao & Associates Inc. signed a contract of lease for a 13,896-square meter parcel of land in Aseana City. The lease period is 50 years commencing in June 2022.

SLMC’s  two facilities in Quezon City and Global City, Taguig have a combined total of 1,146 rooms, with over 60,000 average in-patient admissions and 2.7 million outpatient consultations annually.
