The Board of Investments’ One-Stop Action Center for Strategic Investments (OSACSI) has announced that Laguna Wind Energy Corp. has successfully transported and delivered wind turbines for the P10.85-billion Kalayaan 2 Wind Power Project at Batangas Port, keeping the project on schedule.

In a statement on Monday, the BOI said that with the turbines now on-site, installation and commissioning activities are set to begin immediately, further advancing the BOI-listed project toward full operational status.

The BOI confirmed that the turbines were delivered on July 18, 2025.

Upon completion, the Kalayaan 2 Wind Power Project is expected to generate 100.8 MW of clean energy for the grid, reducing carbon emissions and contributing significantly to the country’s renewable energy targets and long-term energy security, the BOI added.

“This timely delivery underscores our commitment to providing clean energy solutions efficiently. We remain on schedule to complete the Kalayaan 2 Wind Power Project, contributing significantly to the nation’s renewable energy goals,” said Miguel Cruz Moniz, The Blue Circle’s Chief Construction Officer and Project Director of Laguna Wind Energy Corp.
