Ayala Corp. said it has elected Mercedita Nolledo as new director to serve the remaining term of Fernando Zobel de Ayala who resigned due to health reasons.
Zobel, however, will remain as a special advisor to the board, the conglomerate said.
Nolledo served as director of Ayala between 2004 and 2010, and currently sits as board of trustee in a number of Ayala Group foundations.

In the mid of this month, Zobel resigned from his position in the board of directors of the various listed Ayala company.
